I currently have Direct Auto insurance, but i would like to switch companies to get a cheaper rate. i never had to cancel my insurance before the term is up, and my term isnt up till november 2010. my question is, how do i do that (if i can), and will i be charged for it?

I have had one violation almost 3 years ago and have had insurance now for almost six months. looking for the cheapest (min. coverage) place to get auto insurance as the car is only driven a few days a week. Any suggestions would help

In the latest case of corporate welfare our three major auto makers are begging the government for a bailout. How many small store owners and private citizens ask the government to pay for their reckless spending. Everyone complains about welfare mothers who have one child after another. What they get and what our automakers are getting is very stratified by the people they know who are influential. How many welfare recipients know their state senator or even their congressman? Would they get help at the magnitude that the auto industry is getting?

What can I do as just one person to prevent our government from giving our big three auto companies a penny of my tax money?

I am totally against it, and so should al of us hard working tax payers.

I don’t know why we are not up in arms over this. It’s almost a “revolutionaly” situation.

We need a new Boston tea party, dump some cars into the Atlantic Ocean as a protest.

Does anyone know what the auto industry would give to the government in return for bailing them out? Any links would br great.
