Brian W asked:

I have a 300gb Clickfree automatic backup portable hard drive, and everytime i plug in the USB cable, the software loads up and tries to automatically back up my computer. I dont know how to stop it, and it is really starting to piss me off. Does anyone know how to disable the auto start/ auto update?

  1. Colanth says:

Autostart is in the properties of the drive. Or you can just delete the autorun.inf file on that drive – or rename it. Colanth

    You can either

    A. – Disable the Auto Play for that device
    — Usually by plugging the device in and then right clicking it and checking in properties and what not for the auto-play

    B. – Erase all files on the Clickfree device (Including the hidden ones) and use the device just as an external hard drive

Just a couple ways I came up with

    Hope it helps :) Technerd_Shawn
