According to the provisions in the bailout the auto companies either have to come up with a plan that will turn things around or face chapter 11 bankruptcy. If they do not comply, there is no more money and they have to pay back what they got. Do you really believe the Democrats will enforce that provision or just continue giving them more money and create subsidized business entities?

We shouldn’t be bailing them out in the first place. The only responsibility of government is national defense and establishment of infrastructure, not to be a sugar daddy. But unfortunately too many think they are owed something. Ya know what they’re owed? A pink slip and a boot in the a$$ as they’re walking out the door! Eric C.

I think we are destined to see subsidized business entities in the future.

The big 3 may have to enter bankruptcy and when they do the markets will crash. How far they will decline are unknown but they will definately crash.

It will take a few months but once the figures of unemployment and impact of such large bankruptcies occure it’s going to be felt everywhere in this country and abroad.

The government will come forth with some form of subsidy to get them restarted and it will cost the taxpayers no matter which direction is taken in bringing one or all of the big 3 back. mike truss
