I want to pay people for referring me a customer who purchases an auto insurance policy from me. Is this legal? Are there any detail I should know about before starting this?

As a college student, some friends and I have been thinking about beginning to invest in the stock market. Would anyone recommend investing in the US Auto Industry (GM, Ford, Chrysler)? The price per share is very low and could do one of two things: go higher or the company could go out of business.

What do you recommend?

10 million jobs at stake and Obama wants the auto industry saved with a bailout. Bush doesn’t.

I’ve worked for years as both a mechanic and in the auto parts industry. I also hold a degree in computer programming and my CompTIA A+ certification. I’m interested more in an IT career – but if I can leverage my auto experience somehow, i’m sure it would help.

Any insight on how to combine the two? I got laid off in December, and I really need a job. I live just northeast of Atlanta in Lawrenceville, GA.

When Buzz Hardgrove or others say the auto industry should receive subsidies so that auto workers can maintain a job at a high wage does that mean everyone else who earns less than an autoworker should receive money as well? Or are auto workers better than the average person and more deserving of high wages even when the market dictates differently?

Why would Republican congressional members give a hoot about what a president-elect is telling them they should do?

Today, as technology advances around the clock, we are finding better products that are automated such as the new Microsoft Sync. Technology is surely advanced as far as optional items that can be purchased for user-friendly devices such as bluetooth technology. With the technology we currently have, do you believe the auto industry is dishing out enough effort to make cars as efficient on gas as they should be?

Have we merely given the auto indsutry a bunch of cash to blow through, or will it make changes to make tiself competitive?
