What are the 10 things you look for when you choose an auto mechanic, no matter how petty, I want to know. Given that mechanic met all of your criteria, would you drive almost an hour out of your way to have him work on your car? Or, would you settle for less?

I would not.
If i need a mechanic, then my car must be broken, making it impossible for me to drive 30 to 45 minutes to him.

its just 1 thing you need to know, if he understands cars and i mean all types of cars, and that’s the base, but about driving for 30 mins, i wouldn’t because nobody buys a car and works for a lot of time without a simple problem in it so u should have knew someone when u bought it.. mimi
