Will teams driving Chevys start planning on new auto sponsers or just get caught without a auto sponser?

GM stock according to CNN dropped 21% to lowest level since 1950 And is expected to take another hit when it exceeds last quarters losses this quarter. I would think smart owners would start looking at other auto manufactures so they have a auto sponsor next year or just hope a foreign company buys GM assets and keeps it running.

Chevrolet has already said multiple times they are not pulling out. So I don’t think this subject should even be discussed right now. Ford has also said the same thing. Brian K

I don’t think Chevy is going anywhere. The stock price is very very low (wish I had cash cause I would buy a bunch!), but they aren’t going to quit NASCAR – they get far too much attention by participating. They’ve said they’re sticking around and frankly from a marketing standpoint, now is the time to increase marketing to increase sales. Sherri T

but they are at the highest ever dow took the biggest drop since the 30’s and yet last year went up to all time record high
so they are still up stock holders may have gained or losted ! GreenBean T. K.

Chevy is not going anywhere! No need to search for other mfgs. All the stocks are screwed at the moment. Wait until it settles down a little. This recession is screwing everybody. Glad I don’t own stock anymore!

General Motors automobile division may be suffering a loss but you have to understand that General Motors makes a lot more than just automobiles. General Motors makes a lot of things in your home, military, etc. and also make equipment that runs some of our nations powerplants etc. NASCAR to General Motors is just advertising, and a comeback reminder for their automobile manufacturing facilities. fluffy

Toyota sales are off 32%. GM was down 16%.

Chevrolet will be fine. The stock market tanked, many companies are at all time low stock prices. beth
